Before we had children, our travels were certainly adventurous:  shark cage diving, street food from questionable vendors, strolls along croc riddled rivers in Africa.  However, the most important aspect never changed: to experience another culture first hand.  After having children, we knew how important passing along these experience was for their growth as a global citizens.  We found every opportunity to take them to distant lands.    Then the pandemic hit.  Being in healthcare, we found ourselves exhausted with the expectations in our field and more importantly, the desire of our community to return to the go go go lifestyle we felt imperative to leave behind.  We realized how much of our children’s lives we were missing. We needed a change!

After much planning,  we packed our bags and ventured overseas.
